To setup your iCal to connect with your personal calendars located on Function1, first open the Preference window located in the iCal menu.
Select the accounts tab, and click on the "+" button to add a new account.
The account type should be automatic. In the email address, type "your_user_name@function1.mime.oregonstate.edu" Then type your password in the Password field. Now click the Create button to add the calendar to your iCal.
Once your calendar is created, you can change the Description of your calendar under the Account Information tab in the preferences window, and you can change the refresh rate to suit your needs.
To allow others to view your calendar, you need to add Delegates in the Delegation tab.
Select the Edit button to bring up the management window. Click on the "+" button to create an entry field, and start to type the name of the user that you want to access in the entry field. If the user exists in the open directory, they will be found automatically, and you can select them to be added.
Select the Done button once all desired delegates have been added. As other people add you as a delegate, you will be able to turn on access to their calendars in the main window of the Delegation tab.
